Spring Forward

Hi! It’s the first day of spring and it only seems right to start thinking of long floaty dresses and beautiful summer evenings. Too soon? Ok I’ll reign it in!

I’m not one for keeping certain items of clothing for different times of the year. Those of you who know me well, may have witness me choose a summer dress with a jacket and no tights in the darkest of winter!

There are some pieces I’ve re-discovered since moving back home, I seem to amass clothes but then (weak justification about to happen) if I didn’t, I couldn’t make posts like this!

I love this Great Plains skirt, it’s a few years old now but this is one of the first pieces in my wardrobe that gets an airing as soon as spring arrives.

I tried the River Island crop top on with it as I was feeling a little cheeky and I really like the way it looks. The light yellow jacket is from Pepe Jeans, I always think if your gonna show a flash of skin, you need to tone down the rest of the outfit.

Sooo this a little Carrie Bradshaw if I do say so myself. I’ve had this pink dress for a few months but never warn it as its a tad short for my liking. I’m a firm believer that if you throw a leather jacket over an outfit, you instantly get chicer! (That’s not a word!) Once the weather is warmer, I think I’m gonna brave it and just own it! Pink isn’t normally a colour I’d wear but matched with a bright lipstick, heels and a cute clutch, I’m converted!

I know I’m going to wear this jumpsuit to death in sping/summer! Lipsy make, in my opinion, some of the best jumpsuits on the high street. They are so flattered and this is no exception, apart from feeling like your wearing your pyjamas. The material is almost like suede, so soft and a pleasure to wear. I wore this with some bronze barely there River Island sandals that some uncomfortable! Good job they look cute!

Thanks for reading and to my new followers 🙂
